Answer Multiple Calls on 3CX RingGroups

Scenario:

Extension 101 and Extension 102 is part of Ring Group. When either of the extension is on an active call, they do not receive any notification for a second incoming call even with the ‘Accept Multiple Calls’ checked off on their extension settings. The extensions in that Ring Group not on any active calls would be presented that call.

Solution:

Go to Parameters inside Settings tab. Search for ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP and change the value to 1 from 0.

Notes:
1. This workaround is NOT recommended by 3CX as it may have unintended consequences. 3CX recommends use of call queues (available only on PRO / ENT editions of 3CX)
2. This option is not available on Hosted by 3CX instances
